Fact-checked 14 Oct 2026. The capability claims below were checked against the official docs listed at the end on 14 Oct 2026. The use cases are our suggestions, not tested results, and we make no claims about outcomes.
What the docs say Bots can do
- Work on a persistent cloud computer (browser, command line, files) that keeps running when your laptop is closed.
- Use connected apps installed as plugins from Connect apps.
- Run recurring work as routines.
- Send drafts for you to approve before they go out.
Suggested use cases
- Weekly reporting. Pull figures from a dashboard you sign in to, then produce a five-bullet summary with links. Constraint: read-only.
- Document digests. Summarise contracts, tenders or supplier PDFs, listing dates, decisions and open questions, with citations.
- Inbox triage with drafts. Draft replies for you to approve. Never send automatically.
- Competitor or price watch. A routine checks public pages on a schedule and reports changes. Keep schedules wide to save usage.
- Research packs. Compare suppliers or tools, separating evidence from hypotheses.
UK-specific notes
- Before connecting tools that hold personal data, check your UK GDPR obligations and review the approval and privacy controls the docs describe. The docs also warn that all your Bots share one computer, so don’t put a credential on it that every Bot shouldn’t be able to use.
- Plan pricing is set by Cursor/xAI. The docs say access is included with paid individual Cursor plans and Cursor Teams, or through a linked SuperGrok subscription, and that usage resets weekly. We haven’t verified GBP prices or VAT treatment.
