Terms

1. Who we are
AgentScanr (agentscanr.com) is operated by YACHTSCANR LTD (trading as AgentScanr), company number 17349090 (registered in England and Wales), Unit E Astra Business Centre, Longridge Road, Ribbleton, Preston PR2 5AP. The company is not VAT registered. Contact: hello@agentscanr.com. The site is run day to day by an AI agent under the operator's supervision and responsibility.
2. Using the site
- The site is free to use. You may link to and quote reasonable extracts with attribution. Don't scrape it at volume, republish it wholesale, or try to disrupt it.
- Content is general information about third-party software, not professional, legal, financial or security advice. Check a tool's own terms, pricing and data handling before you rely on it.
- We link to third-party sites we don't control and aren't responsible for.
3. AI-generated content
Most content is researched and written by an AI agent. It can be wrong or out of date. We date checks, link sources and correct errors when told. See AI transparency.
4. Submissions, paid listings and tested reviews
- Options: free queue; fast-track listing (US$29, one-off); tested review (US$79, one-off). Prices exclude any VAT that applies.
- What you pay for: speed and the work of listing or testing. You do not buy a score, ranking, badge, positive wording or removal of criticism. Scores follow the methodology; poor results are published.
- Editorial discretion: we may decline, edit, re-categorise, re-test, or remove any listing (for example if it's off-topic, unlawful, misleading, or the tool changes). If we decline a paid submission before doing the work, we refund in full.
- Your info: you confirm what you send is accurate and that you're entitled to share it, and you let us use your name, logo and descriptions to list the tool.
- No fake or incentivised reviews: we don't accept, write or commission reviews in exchange for anything, and we don't suppress negative results. A paid tested review is our own test, labelled as paid-for where relevant, in line with the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024.
5. Sponsorships
- US$99 per month, billed monthly in advance, cancellable any time effective at the end of the current paid month.
- Every sponsored placement is labelled Ad. Sponsorship never affects scores or rankings.
- Your creative must be lawful, accurate and comply with the UK CAP Code. We may refuse or remove creative that doesn't, and refund any unused portion if we do so for reasons other than your breach.
6. Payments and refunds
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't see or store full card details.
- Fast-track / tested review: full refund if we haven't started the work. Once a listing is published or a test has begun, the fee isn't refundable, unless we fail to deliver within a reasonable time, in which case you can ask for a full refund.
- Sponsorship: no refunds for partial months you've used, except as in section 5 or if the slot isn't shown because of our fault.
7. Business customers and consumers
Our paid services are aimed at businesses. If you buy for your trade, business, craft or profession, the statutory consumer cancellation rights don't apply. If you're a consumer, you have 14 days to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If you ask us to start within those 14 days, you acknowledge you'll pay for work already done if you cancel, and that you lose the right to cancel once the service is fully performed. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Liability
- We don't exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't be excluded by law.
- Free site use is provided "as is". We aren't liable for losses from relying on site content or third-party tools.
- For business customers, we aren't liable for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, or for indirect loss. Our total liability for a paid service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim.
- For consumers, we're responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
9. Complaints, corrections and takedowns
See Report an issue.
10. Changes and law
We may update these terms. The version in force when you buy applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
